It is visually stunning, the characters are alive, the story unfolds around your actions and you drive most of the direction in the game. It does have a few ‘rails’ in that your choices don’t make the dragons stop trying to kill you, or stop the wars, but you can pick either side or avoid picking any side.

Warning: I got the game Friday night 11/11/11 and had Monday off. I vaguely remember about 5 meals and a couple naps before my alarm rang this morning to remind me about work.

Minecraft will be at full release version for the upcomming MineCon. Wish I could go, it might be fun to meet the creators and some rabbid fans.

As soon as the full version 1 is out, I will be updating the server. SO, it’s time for people to chime in. Do you want the new server to run with monsters turned on? (hmmm turned on monsters, could be all kinds of hard times.) Full time or only on weekends? Do you want OP access to the creative mode? Should we keep the server 100% legit, meaning no OP creative mode at all? even for me?!?!? (Not sure I could do it… after you fill your third chest with legit stone blocks the rest is just more damn mining.)

Whole new world? Bring back the first world I had for folks? I could import chunks of the old map into the new if that’s what people would like.

I have not played it yet, but I will be trying it soon.  The forum and video’s about it are very nice.  Let me know if you try it out and what you think of it.

I have cleared an area by the river, near the spawn in spot to be a home town.

There will be a port, and community buildings soon, but wait to build homes till we can get the area secured from mobs spawning and some plots laid out.

Also, lets hold off on sky rails.  They are handy, but break up the view =)
